Smiley Onigiri

Remember the bread Onigiri I made sometime back? These are the real deal, rice onigiri, cutify with a smiley face. Some honey wings as side. Finally bot a heart shaped sandwich sealer, loves the cutie heart pocket sandwiches.

Twin Tiger

Made a smaller cheese tiger to match with the tiger onigiri. Teriyaki salmon as side. IT asked me to make a fierce looking tiger next time, he says my tigers are too cute. Simple bread sammy for his snack at sch.

Focaccia

There's no class for IT today, so no snack bento. Lunch was Focaccia sliced into half and top with minced beef, mozzarella, baked in oven. I put them back together again for easy presentation in the lunch box. Another of those lazy days when I dun feel like decorating.

The boys had no idea what is teru-teru bouzu, they tot it was a ghost I've made. Oatmeal cookies for snack, ran out of time to decor, which explains why I used the cutie bunny baran.

Easter Day Bento

It's Easter Friday today, so added in Choco egg treats for them. Bento is Easter theme with a bunny. Oatmeal raisins n wieners for snack. Attempted to make them like candies. And a bento for myself today, coz there were some leftovers. :)

Sesame Chicken n Toasts

Tried out fried chicken coated with sesame today. LT din really fancy the sesame taste. Toasted some ham with cheddar to go with it. Yes, it's a lazy day again, dressing up the bento with my cute barans. IT had oatmeal raisin cookies, baked the day b4, upon his request. IT loves them, but LT doesn't.

It's Shinkansen theme for today. My first attempt at egg sheet, the blue portion was egg white tinted with wilton's blue colouring. Rice for lunch and bread for snack.

Flying Pigs on Mentaiko pasta

We love Mentaiko pasta! LT told me these flying pigs are the mascot for flying pork he saw at the supermkt. Lol, guess he is right, though tt was not my inspiration for this bento.

Anpanman n Twinkle stars

The boys went to the Anpanman museum on our last trip to Tokyo. They had a gd time there. Anpanman was very easy to make, spent most time making the villain. Snack bento was decorated with stars.

The boys love this drink called Qoo, was trying to make the Qoo mascot. Din turn out correct though, can't see the resemblance, lol. Baked Madeleines the day b4, the boys love them.

The details on the Mario mushroom was drawn on wIth edible fd marker. Hello kitty for their lunch box, I'm lucky to hv 2 boys who aren't fussy abt the theme of their lunch box. Yes, they dun mind girly themes.
