Elmo Bento

It's Elmo to end the week, he's my favourite character from Sesame Street. The boys adore him when they were toddlers, they still like him, but not as much as before. :)

Bento for IT, in the box are onigiri, pork roll, miso chicken, strawberries and blueberries. The rice is coloured with beet. And I was trying to make cookie monster from the blueberries, but I know can't really tell it's him, lol. :)

Bento for LT, same food as above. This is the first time I use miso to marinade the chicken, I usually use it for cod and salmon. The verdict is we like the miso chicken, so will definitely be cooking that again.

Bento for IT's recess, in the box are nutella sandwich, miso chicken and grapes. Decided to do chocolate painting, instead of cutting Elmo from cheese. I already have a bag of cheese cut outs to clear, so I don't want to add on to it.

Bento for LT to bring to School, same food as above, except he's having strawberry jam sandwich.

The pink furry Elmo is mine, cute right? Heehee, I hang it on one of my bag. :P

Salad with miso chicken for me. Something light, coz it's hubby's birthday today and we will be having a seafood feast tonight. :P

Have a good weekend, I'll be back again on Monday. :)

    1. Haha, I also don't know why I took so long to create Elmo for my bento. No, it's not difficult to handle, but I've yet to master it, my outlines are quite uneven. :(

    2. Oh, and I like that the chocolate painting can be done the day before, so just need to put on top of the bread/rice next day morning. :)
