The Boys' Tigers and Lion

My Boys' one week school break is almost coming to an end. We went out for the past few days, so lunch was taken outside. Today, I decided we should stay at home so that IT can complete his school holiday project. I made them a simple lunch of stir-fry beef/broccoli with egg noodles. Then I let them make an animal to decorate it. The boys chose their favourite animal, IT wanted a tiger and LT wanted a lion.

First, they cut out the animal with a cutter.

LT's quite excited that he can prepare his own decor.

Help Mummy! The cheese's stuck to the cutter. :P

Adding the seaweed, IT managed to put on the bigger cut-outs, but he needed some help with the smaller pieces.

I helped LT to put on his seaweed, he can't really handle that. He had fun helping me to punch out the seaweed.

The Boys' Creations

Holidays are almost coming to an end. Decided to let the boys try their hand at making their own bentos today. Gave them something easy to start with, just shaping the onigiri, putting on the nori expressions. They had fun.
