Easter Bunny & Chick Toast

My boys are back in School today, and I'm back to the usual bento making. I'll start sharing my bentos tomorrow. For today, I will share my toast art from last Friday.


Easter bunny and chick on toast. Bunny is made from, egg, ham and nori. Little chick is made from tomato, nori and carrot.

I had lots of fun making all the toast art last week, they don't require much cooking and are much faster to make than my usual bentos. This will definitely not be my last toast art, will make them again when I've time. :)

Panda Toast

Time flies so fast, it's almost the end of the one week School break. :( My boys will be back in School again next Monday, which means I've to be up before six again, sign. :(


Presenting another toast art, panda egg on toast. :)


Panda is made from egg and nori. Sun is made from tomato. The other food used on the toast are pea sprouts, corn, pea and ham.

Totoro & Susuwatari Toast

The character for today's toast art is Totoro! He's one of my favourite. :)


Chibi Totoro is made from egg, susuwatari are made from grapes and the sun is made from tomato.


Sun's rays are drawn with deco gel. :) Hope you like today's toast art. :)

Ladybug & Caterpillar Toast

Sharing another toast idea, this time I made a ladybug and caterpillar. :)

Bread is lightly toasted with cheddar. Ladybug and sun are tomatoes. Caterpillar is made from edamame.


Flowers are made from corn, peas and coriander. Lastly, hearts are cut outs from ham. I used egg for my next art toast, made one of my favourite character, will share it tomorrow. :)

Bee Toast

I'm not doing any bentos for this week, will be doing food art on toast instead. :) The toast are eaten by me, instead of my boys. :P I'm using tomatoes for the toast, which they hate, lol. :)


I made this yesterday. Toasted the bread slightly with cheddar cheese. Bees and sun are tomatoes. Bees' wings are cheese.

Bear Goes Fishing

So happy to finally have a one week break, alarms are off this morning, yay! Sharing the lunch I made for my boys last Friday. :)

Bear and boat are made from short grained brown rice. Details are done with nori, cheese and decor gel. There's also pork stew, carrots, broccoli, corn and peas on the plate.


The boys shared the food, the plate is huge, so there's actually two servings on it. :)
