Smurf Bento

Smurf is a cartoon I enjoyed when I was a kid. For today, I'm sharing my Smurf bento made before the School holiday. I made Smurf bentos before using bread, click HERE to check them out. :)


The blue rice is coloured using butterfly pea flowers. I used shredded egg sheet for Smurfette's hair. Smurfette's hair is inspired by Bento Days Smurfette bento. :) There's chicken karaage, grapes and strawberries packed in the box behind, was out of veggies that day.


I know I owe some of you some recipes, a little busy today, I will get the recipes sorted out over the weekends and will share them next week. :)

Smurf Bento

Remember the bread I coloured with butterfly pea flower yesterday? It turned into an even nicer shade of blue after it has cooled down completely. And I used the bread to make Smurfs today. :)


For the boys to bring to School, triple layered sandwich, with grapes and panko pork.


This time, I seasoned shabu shabu pork with salt, rolled it up, and pressed onto panko before pan-frying.


And for their lunch, they had multi-grained rice, salmon, panko pork, golden kiwis and strawberries.


The green bits are broccoli. :)


My dinner, took the chance to cook shabu shabu pork belly which my hubby hates. Lol, will cook more stuff he hates since he is not having dinner for another month. :P The boys had similar food, with an extra side dish of salmon.


And lunch today, tossed the panko pork with salad. :)
