Classic Piglet Bento

I made this classic Piglet bento for the boys last Friday, on A.A. Milne's birthday. :)

Piglet is made from cheese, ham and nori. I coloured the cheese with some blue natural colouring I bought in Japan. The colouring turned out quite patchy. -_-

The bento is packed with rice, ginger pork, broccoli and strawberries. Sharing the ginger pork recipe at the end of the post. It's also known as Buta-no-Shogayaki , it's very fast and easy to cook, and taste good when cold, making it great for bentos.

I cut some carrot flowers to decorate my bento, saw a tutorial on it in my bento book sometime back. Upon sharing this bento, I learnt that Daisy Selalu has made a tutorial on how to cut them, so do hop over to her blog to check it out. :)

My giveaway is closing in a few hours, last chance to join if you are interested. The winner will be out tomorrow. The next giveaway will be up on Wednesday, Bento Berries will be sponsoring a giveaway of 4 sets of kawaii bento picks, sneak peek HERE. :)
