Frog Burger Bento

I served the boys' burger in a box again today. :) They were so happy to see fries in their lunch box today, lol. I had intended to pack half a burger for IT to bring to School, but hubby took half day leave last minute and ate up the burger for lunch. :P So, I made some muah chee for IT instead. It's made of glutinous flour and coated with peanuts and sugar, IT loves it. :)

This one is for hubby, he asked me how come the boys' set looks better than his. Hmmm....

I did not decorate IT's snack box today, brain's dead and I did not have time. I just added in a pick. I also forgot to take an individual picture of that box.

Muah Chee that I made for IT, super fast and easy to do. I used the Happy Call pan to do it, but a non-stick pan will work too. Below is the recipe I got from the Happy Call group, I just used normal cooking oil as I was rushing, it's fine too but shallot oil will make it more fragrant. :)

MUAH CHEE RECIPE

Ingredients:
1 cup glutinous rice flour
3/4 cup water
finely ground peanut
sugar

Method:

  1. Grease pan with shallot oil.
  2. Pour in pan and cook on low heat for 3 mins.
  3. Once it is cooked, roll together to form a lump.
  4. Remove and put to peanut/sugar coating, cut to bite size.
