My original plan was to mould Jiji from rice for their lunch bentos, but I decided to change the menu yesterday, so I've to drop this idea. Will attempt that another time.
And my giveaway post will be up tomorrow, please check back if you are interested. :)

My lunch, same food as the boys' lunch, Char Siew fried rice.
CHAR SIEW RECIPE
700g Pork Shoulder Butt
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
1tsp dark soya sauce
2 tsp light soya sauce
1 tbsp rose wine
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sugar
- Mix all the ingredients together and leave meat to marinade for at least 2 hours. Best if you can leave it to marinade overnight.
- Add a little oil in pan, grill the meat on medium heat for around 5 minutes on each side.
- Pour in the marinade and a cup of water, simmer on low heat for around 30 minutes.
- Turn up to medium heat and simmer till you get a layer of thick sauce left.
